Origin
Anaïs in France is a famous name it has really emerged since the mid-1980s, they are seven to ten times more Anaïs than Anne. It was the third most famous women's names in 1993, he has since begun to slow down, but remain really popular. They are no trace from the name before the middle of the nineteenth century, when it is found in Provence and Catalonia. Its dtheiminutive from Naïs which was also used in a novel by Marcel Pagnol.
